Souvenir de la Malmaison Clb

20,00

It owes its name to the rose garden that Giuseppina Bonaparte created in her country home located in the castle of Malmaison, not far from Paris. A big rose fan and dissatisfied with the little choice available at the time, she had more than 200 varieties from Persia planted in the rose garden, that is, all the roses she knew about.
Climbing Mutation of Souvenir de la Malmaison, is a marvelous sarmentosa that prefers sunny and well-ventilated sites. It blossoms tirelessly from spring to early winter with sweet and fragrant corollas, double, large and creamy pink edged with soft pink. The leaves are large and shiny although they may occasionally suffer from attacks of powdery mildew or black stain. Tolerates the pot culture and the half-shade positions well.
