It is a beautifully shaped bush with a fairly erect fit for small spaces or mixed flower beds. The flowers, clustered in bunches, are of a dark purple veil of velvety black, with a golden yellow stem. The scent is intense and sweet. The moss covering the buds is dark and very dense.
