They originated in Bourbon Ile de la Reunion, where Rosa Old Blush and Rose Damascus Quaitre Saisons were used to make divisions. From this spontaneous union was born a new group of roses called Bourbon Rose. Even today Bourbon Roses can be divided into two groups: those with flowers similar to Chinese roses, such as Reine Victoria, or those that look more like Damascus as Bourbon Queen. The flowers retain the appearance of Ancient Roses with their beautiful cup shape and they have an inebriating scent and a great revelation.
